Two Ways You Can Join Us

Children’s Church
At Children’s Church, our youngest members experience God’s love in a way that’s vibrant, engaging, and perfectly suited to their growing hearts. Join us on the lower level every 2nd and 4th Sunday where we create a joyful space where children in grades K- 12 can explore their faith through stories, songs, and activities that bring the Bible to life. As they learn about Jesus, they’re not just hearing the Word—they’re living it, building a strong foundation for a lifetime of faith. Bring your children and watch them thrive in God’s love!
Nursery
In our nursery, children aged 5 and under are welcomed into a warm, nurturing environment where they can experience God’s love from the very start. Join us every Sunday on the lower level where our dedicated caregivers provide a safe and joyful space where your little ones can play, learn, and grow in faith. We believe that even the youngest hearts can feel God’s presence, and we’re here to support your child’s spiritual journey with gentle care and loving attention.
After-Church Fellowship
Join us in the MLK Fellowship Hall after service for a time of connection and community. Our after-church fellowship offers a relaxed environment to catch up with fellow members, make new friends, and enjoy a light snack. It’s a perfect opportunity to strengthen the bonds that make our church family so special. Whether you’re new or a longtime member, we look forward to sharing this time together!
Give
Your generosity fuels the mission of First Baptist Church Capitol Hill, helping us to love God, make disciples, and serve our community. As we give, we follow the words of 2 Corinthians 9:7, ‘Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.’ Together, our contributions make a lasting impact.
